These 246 cases and the nearly 20 cases in China mentioned above have a common feature, that is, the so-called "runaway acceleration of vehicles". In these case reports received by NHTSA, most drivers claimed that "Tesla vehicles suddenly accelerated without warning" caused the accident.

This report of NHTSA is also the only report in the world that has been published by the relevant functional departments of a national government and has legal effect on "Tesla is out of control".

Here, it is not simply to attribute all the nearly 20 Tesla accidents in China in the last year to the driver’s operational errors. The Rashomon discussion is still going on.
