The focal depth of the earthquake is 10 kilometers, and the epicenter is located at 28.18 degrees north latitude and 104.22 degrees east longitude, 8 kilometers away from Yanjin County, 76 kilometers away from Yibin City, Sichuan Province and 106 kilometers away from Zhaotong City.
