　　On the morning of July 6, the Office of the Guangdong Provincial Work Safety Committee, the Office of the Guangdong Flood Control, Drought Prevention and Wind Prevention Headquarters and the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Management Department issued a notice on typhoon prevention.

　　According to the news released by the meteorological department, at 8: 00 on July 5, the tropical disturbance east of Luzon Island in the Philippines intensified into a tropical depression (magnitude 7, 15m/s), and its center is about 1070km away from the southeast of Chaozhou. It is expected to move rapidly to the northwest at a speed of about 30km/h, and land in eastern Guangdong to coastal cities and counties in southern Fujian around the evening of the 6th. In addition, the tropical disturbance in the South China Sea intensified into a tropical depression from the afternoon of the 5th to the night, and then the intensity was strengthened, and it gradually moved to the eastern coast of Hainan.

　　On the night of 5th — On the 7th, there were 6 -8 winds in the coastal waters of Guangdong Province, the north-central South China Sea, bashi channel and Taiwan Province Strait, and 6 strong winds and 8 gusts in the coastal areas of eastern Guangdong and Leizhou Peninsula.

　　In terms of rainfall

　　On the 6 th, some cities and counties in eastern Guangdong and Meizhou had heavy rain to heavy rain; On the 7th, there were heavy rains and local rainstorms in western Guangdong, and moderate to heavy rains and local rainstorms in the Pearl River Delta and cities and counties in eastern Guangdong.

　　Wave aspect

　　From the night of the 5 th to the 6 th, there will be huge waves of 2.5-4.0 meters in the bashi channel and the northeastern South China Sea. On the 6th, from day to night, there will be moderate to large waves of 1.5-2.8m in the coastal waters from Shantou to Shanwei. From the night of the 7th to the morning of the 8th, there will be 2.0-3.5m medium waves to big waves in the coastal waters from the Pearl River Estuary to the west of Guangdong Province.
