There are many kinds of water purifiers with different shapes. How to choose and buy them is learned.
With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, the trend of consumption upgrading is increasingly obvious, and water purifiers have entered more and more families. The reporter recently visited the market and learned from some citizens’ homes that reverse osmosis water purifiers and general water quality processors (faucet water purifiers) are commonly used water purifiers in ordinary families, and related products sold in online and offline markets are also various, but it is often difficult for consumers to intuitively understand their quality.
The reporter learned from Tianjin Consumers Association yesterday that according to the comparative test of 31 groups of water purifier products conducted by Beijing Consumers Association, a sample machine hygiene and safety project with a nominal trademark of TCL did not meet the requirements of national standards, mainly for oxygen consumption indicators; The hygiene and safety items of two leading water purifiers with nominal trademarks of LONSID and Alikes do not meet the requirements of national standards, mainly for arsenic and chromium (hexavalent).
Professionals told reporters that the water purifier is a kind of water quality treatment equipment, which can filter tap water and treat it into pure water or drinking water that can be directly drunk. However, the quality of water purifiers on the market is uneven, some have low purification efficiency, and some may have potential safety hazards.
In some stores, some citizens said in an interview that they didn’t know the effect and quality of this kind of products, and most of the purchases were based on reading the promotional materials and pictures of the products and listening to the introduction of the sales staff.
In order to let consumers have a better understanding of this kind of products, Consumers Association organized the purchase of reverse osmosis water purifiers involving 19 brands and 19 models, and general water quality processors (faucet water purifiers) involving 11 brands and 12 models from JD.COM, Suning, Gome and Tmall. The price of reverse osmosis water purifier ranges from 1143 yuan to 3980 yuan, and the price of general water quality processor (faucet water purifier) ranges from 279 yuan per 64 yuan.
In this comparative test, some reverse osmosis water purifiers with large flow and small flow have good purification effect on chloroform. With the increase of purified water, the purification efficiency of reverse osmosis water purifier for chloroform is decreasing.
In order to compare the chloroform purification efficiency of reverse osmosis water purifier, the sampling point when the chloroform purification efficiency is not less than 80% is selected as the maximum water purification quantity, and compared with the unit price of the product. The lower the ratio of unit price to water purification quantity, the higher the cost performance of the water purifier. The results show that the product sample with a price of 1799 yuan is much more cost-effective than the product sample with a price of 3980 yuan.
So, for consumers, how to buy such products? To this end, consumers’ associations remind the public that when purchasing reverse osmosis water purifiers, priority should be given to the good purification effect (purification efficiency ≥ 80%), high rated total purified water, large purified water flow and water-saving products. In addition, when purchasing faucet water purifier, priority should be given to the one with good purification effect (purification efficiency ≥ 80%), rated total water purification products. In daily use, if the rated total water purification capacity of the water purifier is small, the filter element should be replaced in time to ensure good purification effect. At the same time, when using, we should try not to turn on all the faucets, and keep the flow of purified water in a small state, so as to have a better purification effect.
